About the designer & the studio
¡HOLA! My name is Paulina. I am a graphic designer from Mexico City, a print nerd, and all-around creative with over 10 years of experience. My happy place is somewhere between pixels and ink, where digital meets analog and things get a little more tactile and a lot more human. Over the years, I’ve fallen hard for craft. I’ve now worked in letterpress, screen printing, block printing, bookbinding...you name it! Turns out, the magic for me is in process.
In October 2025, I adopted a 1900s Chandler & Price platen press (yes, adopted! She’s family now and soon to be named). That’s when Mighty Mutt Studio started to come to life! Inspired by my time working at Bad Robot Productions in The Workshop, Mighty Mutt Studio is part design studio, part print shop, part creative playground.
And the MUTT (and mascot) behind the name? Her name was Rita. She was my heart-dog and ride-or-die for 13 years! A one-of-a-kind mega mutt with the biggest heart and the kindest soul. Mighty Mutt is a little nod to her mixed-breed magic… and to my own mixed bag of skills.
